Men and women are different in more ways than one. In some cases, heart attack symptoms in women also seem to be different from those of men.

Most of the classic heart attack symptoms are:

•  Shortness of breath          

• Difficulty breathing

• Pain or weakness in the shoulder, arms, or all over the body

• Nausea not relieved by burping or antacids

• Vomiting

• Overwhelming fatigue

• Chest pain

If you experience any of the above heart attack symptoms or other unusual sensations, such as back pain, arm pain, clamminess, or exhaustion, get in contact with your doctor. If you start noticing more than one symptom that doesn't go away, get immediate assistance.
